Sinai Residences is pleased to announce the appointment of Todd Kalkstein as our new Executive Chef. Todd joins our team in July and brings a wealth of experience in delivering delicious culinary cuisines.
He attended the Culinary Institute of America and upon graduation started his career in the food service industry. Todd worked his way up from ground level in the kitchen to Executive Chef and District Manager of large accounts. His experience also includes teaching at the Baltimore International Culinary College and owning a successful bagel business that won the prestigious Baltimore Magazine’s Best of Baltimore award. He enjoys teaching, coaching and mentoring his team of cooks and sous chefs to deliver resident satisfaction in each meal.
He is looking forward to making the move to Florida with his wife and sharing his mother’s Jewish recipes of brisket, gefilte fish from scratch and many more with the residents of Sinai Residences.
